Starting and caring for your collection

Firstly, choose your trollbead bracelet or chain in either sterling silver or 14 ct gold.

To get a perfect fit for your bracelet, measure tightly where your wrist is broadest and add another 2 centimetres (20 mm). Then select one of the double catches to suit your style.

Finally, chose your first trollbead and begin your time line of love and affection, of achievements and success.
Trollbeads fit all things individual, customised and vintage.

When your bracelet is full, the easy release double catch enables you to ‘change the mood of your beads’ with different colour combinations; adding gold, glass, semi-precious stones and pearls to create a more eclectic individual piece of jewellery.

Care for your trollbeads collection

We hope you will love your trollbeads as they deserve.
When fitting you bracelet, please ensure there is enough room to slide three fingers between your chain and wrist when empty. The slack will be taken up when your collection grows. If your bracelet is too tight it will put strain on your lock that will fail under the strain. Check your lock regularly.
trollbeads’ silver has been oxidised giving it its characteristic depth, accentuating and enhancing the craftsman’s intricate details on the silver beads.
Never use chemical silver cleaners on trollbeads as permanent damage will result. Avoid contamination with hair-sprays and perfume as discolouration will occur. Please remove jewellery prior to sleep, exercising or putting your hands in water and never wear trollbeads in a swimming pool.
Cleaning is recommended by gently buffing the silver with a soft silver cloth and when necessary occasionally rinsing them in warm water with the help of a gentle toothbrush.
We recommend you store your unused beads in an airtight bag to prevent further oxidisation.
